The Vision Dublin 2022 Conference is set to take place between May 12th – May 15th. The conference will be held by The European Council of Optometry and Optics and the European Council of Optometry and Optics.
The conference will be located on the southside of the city, with workshops being held at the Technological University of Dublin, School of Optometry.
Workshops and speaking sessions will include the following: an introduction to scleral contact lens fitting, the lost art of retinoscopy, the impact of virtual reality and augmented reality in vision, quality of life assessment before and after cataract surgery, best practice communication between ECPs and parents and ophthalmology lessons learnt from the pandemic.
Workshops and speakers include professional and academics from the optics industry. Including Professor Bruce Evans and Dr Sìofra Harrington; as well as consultant ophthalmic surgeon Eugene Ng and clinical optometrist and contact lens specialist Cian Gildea.
