Responsibilities of the Optometrist
As an Optometrist here’s some of the tasks that you will be given.

You must be able to dispense across all levels.

You must be able to conduct pre-screen tests and contact lens fittings.

You must be able to promote the business and seize any opportunities to grow the eye-care where possible.

You must be able to cover work in the reception and general admin to ensure that all areas of the practice run smoothly.

You must be able to support other members of your team through shadowing and mentoring.

You must be able to deliver a more diverse range of dispensing as this practice specialises in sports vision.
Requirements of the Optometrist
You will need to hit the minimum requirements to do well in this role:

You must be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and clear communication through your work.

You must be have genuine passion for helping people in a customer service role.

You must be fully GOC registered with completely up-to-date CET requirements.

You must be able to offer the highest quality service and ensure that the customer is always satisfied with their experience.

You must be able to to offer customer your own expert opinion and any fashion advice is preferred but NOT essential
