Who are they?
Established in 1938, Scrivens Hearing Care is a family-owned and family-run business. Headquartered in Birmingham (where the business started) and today has over 180 ‘optical and hearing care’ branches, as well as many other ‘hearing only’ outlets within independent opticians and medical centres.
As the business has expanded, they have acquired other individual practices and optical chains – these include Melson Wingate, Ronald Brown Opticians and the Owl Group. As Scrivens continue to grow, they have made sure that their core focus has remained the same… “Providing their customers with excellent service and clinical excellence.” Their branch teams are trained to become customer champions, and they are always working to improve the experience they offer.
The expansion of Hearing Care (formerly The Hearing Company), their hearing care service, has boosted Scrivens continued steady growth, and they now provide hearing care in many external optical retailers. Hearing Care now boasts a hearing care service nationwide.
