Senior Optical Assistant/ Manager
A full time long term commitment has just become available for an experienced Optical Assistant who can dispense to all levels and used to working in a busy environment.
This practice is situated on a busy road and has good footfall with a loyal customer base with a good mix of private and NHS patients. They have a close knit team who strive to deliver the highest standards with each dispense and pride themselves on their reputation for excellence in customer care.
They are looking for a Senior Optical Assistant looking to take a step up into a Management position and work across the practices 4 locations across Merseyside. They are well known within the community and offer an excellent service.
Responsibilities of the Senior Optical Assistant/ Manager
The role will entail dispensing spectacles to all levels, conducting pre-screen tests and contact lens teaches. You will also be required to carry out frame styling and give patients advice on options. Reception duties and general admin will also be a part of the role and helping with the smooth running of the practice. You will also have supervisory responsbilities and be able to run the practice the way you want! The owners give you full autonomy with frames and lens.
Requirements of the Senior Optical Assistant/ Manager
At least 1 years experience in a busy practice is beneficial but not essential and the ability to dispense to all levels with a friendly and personable demeanour and strong personal work ethic. A customer focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike.
Compensation for the Senior Optical Assistant/ Manager
My client is offering a very competitive salary of up to £28,000-£30,000 for the right candidate, this is dependant on experience and qualification. With a very generous bonus structure of up to £500 per month. You will recieve 33 days holiday and shutdown over Christmas. You will also have the opportunity to receive some further training as well as joining a professional team in a busy but friendly environment.
