A very exciting opportunity has become available for a customer focused Qualified Dispensing Optician on a full time, permanent basis. This practice is situated in a busy shopping area and has a large and loyal customer base. Responsibilities of the Qualified Dispensing Optician
This is a busy 6 test room practice and your role will entail dispensing spectacles to all levels, conducting pre-screen tests and contact lens teaches. You will also be required to carry out frame styling and give patients advice on best options. For Qualified Dispensing Opticians with suitable experience they are looking for someone who can also take on added responsibilities offering support and training where needed.
Requirements of the Qualified Dispensing Optician
As a qualified Dispensing Optician within this practice you will work as one of the primary dispensers on the shop floor. You will lead by example dealing with the majority of paediatric and complex dispensing. You will be on hand to help junior members of the team with any difficult questions and general trouble shooting. As a member of the stores clinical team you will have a valued input with best practice and clinical compliance.
Compensation for the Qualified Dispensing Optician
For your efforts a competitive salary package up to £22,000 (dependant on your experience) is on offer, along with private medical cover, discount card and 2 x free pair of glasses as well as 33 days holiday.
