YOU MUST BE A QUALIFIED OPTOMETRIST REGISTERED ON THE GOC.
My client is situated on a busy road with a strong client base of both private and NHS patients.
They have a long serving and dedicated support team in the practice who are all working towards making this practice successful.
The opening hours are from 9.00 – 5.30, Monday to Saturday and closed on Sundays and can consider both full and part time optometrists.
This is a new venture for my client and is looking to take the practice forward and starting off with a 3 day optometrist with growth in mind. Experience of working in an independent environment would be an advantage but not essential as is more a willingness to be a part of a new team with all aspects of working in opticians covered. The company offers a wide selection of products and services and more important this is not a hard sell environment.
Responsibilities of the Optometrist
Undertake eye tests and contact lens assessments and have a professional handover to ensure the clients receive the best products for their needs and all the appropriate suggestions and recommendations are passed on.
You will be required to take on some responsibility from time to time under the direction of the owner.
Requirements for the Optometrist
The role requires you be GOC registered with full CET accreditations completed.
A 20 minute testing time dependent on clients.
An advantage would be someone who is multi-lingual.
Compensation for the Optometrist
On offer for the right person is a competitive salary of up to £55,000 pro-rata.
Look forward to hearing from you soon.
