Opening Hours:
Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays – 9:00-6:00
Thursdays – 9:00-7:00
Fridays – 8:30 – 5:30
Saturdays – 9:00-3:00
Closed Sundays and all Bank Holidays
Salary:
24k basic, bonus (approx £200-£600 per quarter), free parking, discounts
The candidate will ideally have 2 years+ experience within an opticians and will ideally have previous independent experience
Responsibilities of the Optical Assistant
You will be responsible for dealing with each and every patient to the best of your ability
Dispensing a wide range of frames/ lenses, frame selection and adjustments
You will be working between two practices approximately 15-minutes apart from each other
You will also be required to do pre-screening, contact lens teaches as well as admin/ reception responsibilities
This opticians is in the process of buying a new practice and need someone to help grow this and their other optical business
Requirements of the Optical Assistant
It is essential that you have previous experience within optics and ideally have worked within a high end, clinical independent environment and have great people skills
Be able to provide excellent service to each and every patient
Be driven and want to develop within your role
Be able to work individually and as part of a team
