Community Pharmacy Manager
This is a role with one of the biggest pharmacy dispensers in the U.K with a strong presence in the market place and pride themselves on being the highly clinical in their approach to delivering the best service available.
They began their humble journey nearly 50 years ago with only one outlet and have since grown both in stature and notoriety to become a leading force in the pharmaceutical industry.
Not only do they operate as a high street pharmacy, they also provide a variety of service second to none including Asthma & respiratory advice, Blood pressure testing, Cholesterol check-up, Diabetes and Flu vaccinations to name a few.
Also they stock a range of luxury concession brands available in store.
They are the pharmacy of choice in the local community and coupled with their highly skilled and trained teams.
They also operate the prescription management app ECHO which allows patients to order their repeat prescriptions and have them delivered for free and manage their medicines via their smartphone.
Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Manager
As the lead and most senior person in the pharmacy you will take charge of the day to day operations from ensuring the store is well stocked and presentable to managing a team of 6 colleagues.
You will be up for the challenge as this is a busy store with an average of 15000 items per month and strong over the counter sales figures around £9,000 per month, but this is by no means limited as it will be your task to increase both sales and patronage to maximise the potential of ‘your’ pharmacy.
You will naturally be a clinically driven pharmacist as they are not just looking for another employee, but someone who can bring something to the role and make a difference.
You are experienced in delivering such clinics as MUR and NMS and happy to deliver a mixed range of clinics.
You will have responsibility of managing your team to include training, development and doing one to ones to ensure you and your pharmacy is recognised as the only choice.
*Working days are Saturday & Sunday. Salary is pro-rata.
Compensation for the Pharmacy Manager
On offer there is a competitive salary of up to £47,000 plus a bonus scheme in place and 33 days’ holidays inclusive of Bank Holidays, professional fees paid, Private Medical Insurance with option to pay for family members and discounts on shopping and purchases.
There is also the chance for further development potential to move away from just the retail side of the business.
