A fantastic opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic Dispensing Optician who wants to progress in their career and develop their optical and business skills.

YOU MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 12 MONTHS EXPERIENCE AS A GOC REGISTERED DISPENSING OPTICIAN.

We are looking for someone who loves helping people to see clearly and look amazing in their new spectacles.
This opticians are an award winning, nationally renowned independent opticians based in Bristol. You’ll be working in a beautifully fitted practice with a great atmosphere and a friendly supportive team.

Requirements of the Qualified Dispensing Optician
GOC registered
Strong customer service ethos
Team player
Good communication skills
Proactive with great organisational skills
Dedicated and flexible to meet demands of a growing business
Be knowledgeable about lenses and frames, their background, features and benefits.
Be able to recommend suitable products to customers and use the customers language to explain the features and benefits
Check and fit spectacles to a high standard.
Use your knowledge to a maintain high level of customer service in clinical dispensing.
Take facial measurements on children and adults.
Be aware of your own KPIs and be proactive in developing and maintaining them.
Maintain a friendly, warm and welcoming atmosphere in practice.
Pro-actively remain up-to-date with your training and assignments.
Work with the team to grow and develop the practices.
This role is subject to DBS clearance.
