Responsibilities of the Optometrist
As an Optometrist, you will have some very important responsibilities to carry out:

You must be able to conduct eye-tests on each of your patients.

You must be able to conduct lens fittings and provide necessary recommendations based on your clients eye health.

You must be able to communicate well and clearly with each member of your team.
Requirements of the Optometrist
Our client asks that each applicant should meet the minimum requirements, these are as follows:

You must be fully GOC Registered with the correct documents to display.

You must have an approachable and caring personality to both customers and clients.

You must be able to deliver a high level of customer service and have a passion for improving the eye-care across the board.

You will earn a higher basic salary than most similar roles in the UK, starting at £50,000 (GBP).

If you are unsure of committing to the role, then our client is prepared to fly you out for a 3-month working holiday to see if you can fit in the role. (6/12/24 month contracts are also available based on the candidates needs).
