Responsibilities of the Optometrist
Here’s a snapshot of their kind of duties you will be carrying out within this role:
You must be able to conduct sight tests in 30-minute time slots.
You must be able to carry out lens fittings and aftercare treatment.
You must be able to use the OCT equipment and conduct Dry-Eye services for appointments that last over 1 hour(s).
You must be able to use modern technology and keep your working space clean and organised at all times.
You must be able to cover all areas of the practice and offer additional support to staff where necessary.
You must be able to up-sell to customers and offer expert advice to each patient.
