Responsibilities of the Optometrist
Our client is looking for someone who can carry out the following tasks;

You must be able to carry out 20 minute appointments dependant on the client.

You must be able to carry out contact lens fittings and aftercare appointments.

You must be able to offer your own expert advice and give recommendations whilst increasing sales.

You must be able to have an organised approach to your work, including your diary of clientele.

You must be able to switch between working in the test room, and selling to the general public.
Requirements of the Optometrist
In order to be successful in this role, you must meet these minimum requirements;

You must be GOC registered and meet all CET requirements.

You must have fantastic communication skills.

You must be able to comfortably carry out contact lens fittings.

You must be able to work on a rota system with flexible working days i.e. working on Saturdays, working added hours etc.
Benefits for the Optometrist
In return for your efforts, our client is happy to offer a basic salary of between £55,000 – £62,000.
On top of that, you will receive a strong bonus package that is beneficial to your personal needs.
