Your Role as an Optical Assistant
Every day will be different in this fast-paced, customer-focused practice. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Dispensing & Frame Styling – Helping patients find the perfect eyewear.
- Pre-Screening & Contact Lens Teaching – Assisting patients with their eye care needs.
- Clinic & Workflow Management – Ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Reception & Admin Duties – Supporting the practice with essential tasks.
- Handling Complex & Children’s Dispensing – Using your expertise to troubleshoot and assist patients with specific requirements.
What We’re Looking For
- Optical Experience – Previous experience in a high-street opticians, with strong dispensing skills and frame/lens knowledge.
