What You’ll Be Doing
This is a varied role with a focus on reception and customer service duties, including:
- Booking appointments and managing patient schedules
- Following up with patients regarding orders and collections
- Handling queries both over the phone and in person
- Occasional pre-screening and assisting with patient care
- Providing an excellent level of customer service and building strong relationships
The practice is modern and well-equipped, located in a fantastic area with a loyal customer base. You’ll be working as part of a friendly, professional team dedicated to providing the best possible patient experience.
What We’re Looking For
To be considered, you must have:
- At least 12 months of experience as an Optical Assistant (ideally within an independent practice)
- A friendly, personable approach and strong customer service skills
- The ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues
- A strong work ethic and ability to work independently when needed

- Full-time role: 8:45 am – 5:30 pm (Monday to Friday), 8:45 am – 4:30 pm (Saturday) with a weekday off
