Responsibilities of the Dispensing Optician
As a Dispensing Optician, you will be expected to carry out key duties in the practice… these include:

You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be flexible enough to carry out different roles i.e. dispensing to general maintenance of the establishment.

You must be able to assist patients with all of their eye care related needs and offer health advice.
-
You must be able to dispense spectacles across all levels and generate sales with each of your patients.
-
You must be able to take on pre-screening tests and contact lens fittings.
Requirements of the Dispensing Optician
In order to work in this position, our client expects that you meet the minimum requirements:
-
You must be a focused, driven individual looking to grow within a very clinical orientated team.

You must be very hard-working and have a strong understanding of the optical industry.
-
You must be able to keep up to date with the latest optical fashion trends and brands.
-
You must be able to dispense across all levels and carry out pre-screen and contact lens fittings.
-
You must have prior experience working with a high end optical frames – Preferred but NOT essential.

Monday – Friday (09:00 – 17:30)
