This large, well established, and well-known Opticians, who are a leading Opticians across the UK, are now looking to add an Optical Practice Manager to their team in the New Forest, Hampshire.
They would look at either a Qualified Practice Manager or a current Practice Manager with Optics experience. Are you someone that is looking to progress and develop, with a view to one day to becoming a Director? Then this is the Practice for you!
Basic salary up to £40,000 per annum (dependant on qualification)
Bonus scheme worth up to £3,000
Free parking permit
Full-time, 8:30 to 5:30
1 day per weekend
Will be provided with excellent training and access to outstanding development courses
Optical Practice Manager Position
As the Optical Practice Manager, you will be the driving force of the business, leading by example and inspiring staff. You will help to lead a busy team of 15 staff including 3 Dispensing Opticians, a CLO, and an Optometrist. This is a very exciting opportunity for an experienced manager who wants to take the next step in their career.
Responsibilities of the Optical Practice Manager
Your role will be to help lead the team from the front. You will be on the shop floor making sales and coaching your teams and ensuring customer service standards are maintained. You will occasionally be involved in all optical duties such as dispensing but primarily be offering advice, managing staff, troubleshooting, rota management, KPI’s, P&L, and dealing with all of the day-to-day duties.
Requirements of the Optical Practice Manager

The ideal person will have a good level of experience within optics or strong retail background. You will be ambitious and hardworking and willing to take on additional responsibilities.
Compensation for the Optical Practice Manager
For your efforts, a competitive salary of up to £40,000 dependant on your experience is on offer, along with a bonus scheme (approx. £3,000 per annum) plus 33 days holiday and free parking. You will also have the opportunity to receive further training and join a professional team in a fun and relaxed environment.
