You will be working for the independent optician of choice in the area and as such you will need to be at the top of your profession to be a part of the team.
You will be the go to person for dealing with the more in depth and complex queries and the clinical side of dispensing.
Responsibilities of the Qualified Dispensing Optician
The role will entail dispensing spectacles to the highest levels, be a strong communicator both with clientele and colleagues alike and have a better than average knowledge of all things optical.
You must be impeccably in your presentation and have an outgoing personality with commercial awareness and an eye for the fashion cycles as the client is always looking for the next exciting thing to happen in optics.
Requirements of the Qualified Dispensing Optician
My client is looking for applicants who first and foremost have enthusiasm and passion for optics as well as a customer friendly approach and understanding of ‘what the customer wants’. Experience in a busy independent environment is ideal but not essential. The ability to dispense to all levels is essential with a friendly and personable demeanour and strong personal work ethic.
Because it is a small practice it is essential you are a team player.
Compensation for the Qualified Dispensing Optician
For your efforts a competitive salary of £25,000 basic and your GOC fees are paid plus a loyalty package in place.
